Registration is now OPEN for all current and new students for the 2025–2026 school year!

If your child will be five years old on or before September 1, 2025, they are eligible to start full-day Kindergarten this fall.

Give your child a strong start—secure their spot today and take care of registration now. We also encourage families to submit required health records ahead of time to ensure a smooth transition into the school year. Please note: health records are not required to register now.

The Village completed a water & sewer rate study to ensure the Village is charging fair rates to all of its customers while preparing for repair and replacement costs.  Based on the study, a monthly fixed Infrastructure Service Charge will replace the existing Minimum Usage Charge.  There will also be rates adequate to provide for routine operation and those associated costs.  The rates and the new infrastructure charge will help the Village achieve and maintain a sustainable Water and Sewer Operating Fund.

What is changing?

The metered water rate will be $8.54 per 1,000 gallons, and the sewer rate will be $1.97 per 1,000 gallons.

What about the minimum bill?

The Village will eliminate the minimum charge of $30.15 and replace it with a $3.00 quarterly infrastructure charge for all accounts that have a meter.

What does this mean for me?

A typical customer using 4,000 gallons of water a month will see their quarterly bill increase $8.52.

What will it look like for customers who are used to seeing a minimum charge?

Customers using less than 1,000 gallons a month will see a bill of $3.00 instead of the previous amount of $30.15.

What about a customer only on sewer?

Customers on the Village’s sewer system, but not using metered water, will see a quarterly bill increase of $1.26, or $5.04 annually.

What about the maintenance only customers not connected to village water or sewer?

Customers charged the water or sewer maintenance fees will not see a change in billing.

By closely monitoring the costs to operate the Village’s utility system and identifying potential infrastructure repair and replacement costs, the Village strives to maintain a safe and reliable potable water and sewer system for its residents.
