The Parks and Recreation Department is overseen by the Parks and Recreation Committee. The committee members are Chairman Richard Gust, Trustee Mark Otterson, and Trustee Larry Wells. Various events are planned for everyone in our community from infants to seniors. Activities include Annual Egg Hunt, holiday parties, and Beach Park Fest.
The Village of Beach Park has two parks - Founders Park and Braim's Tot Lot.
Founders Park is located at 10385 W. Beach Road. Founders Park is a larger park and geared towards families with children of all ages. The park has playground equipment, a walking path (with a total circumference of approximately 1 mile), softball fields, basketball and tennis courts. There is a shelter which can be rented for parties or picnics on Saturdays and Sundays, April - October.
Braim's Tot Lot is located in the Cambridge Subdivision at 39835 Stoneywood Drive and is geared towards families with younger children. The park has a small picnic shelter and playground equipment for the children.
